2017 Maserati Levante

This is it! After a long round of speculations, we finally have official images of Maserati’s first ever SUV. It’s called the Levante and we will have our first look at it at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. There are no details or photos of the interior, but have no doubt – this is a luxury SUV and even its standard spec will please the future buyers. Maserati already started production of its brand new vehicle in the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy.

As to the technical details, this is what we know for a fact:

  • Electronic suspension with controlled damping and air springs
  • Q4 intelligent all-wheel drive system
  • 8-speed automatic transmission
  • Petrol and diesel power units (Euro6-compliant)

The brand promises unmistakable Maserati feeling and performance on the road, coupled with unrivalled handling on low grip surfaces off-road. If you are eager to get your hands on one, you’d better be living in Europe as Maserati Levante will be launching here first. No details yet on when the Italian-styled SUV will appear on the other markets.
